Facilities
If you’ve had enough of the beach, Duka’s hotel features a sunlit outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are modern in style and thoughtfully decorated. Most rooms have a private balcony offering scenic views over the pool and town.
For true luxury, Duka’s hotel has several suites with their own private jacuzzis – does it get any better than that?!

The highlight of Lans Hotel is it’s beautiful infinity pool with stunning views over the ocean. This has got to be the best hotel pool in all of Ksamil. The sunsets from the pool and the rooftop terrace are insane, you can’t miss them.
The rooms are modern and comfortable, and always impeccably clean. Beach towels are provided free of charge. All rooms come with a desk and free toiletries, whilst some also have a balcony with amazing views.

You know we mentioned the roof terrace has increduble views? Well you’ll be able to take full advantage of them. Everyday a filling breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a kettle included (honestly this is a must for me in any hotel, I can’t live without my green tea!). The rooms benefit from air conditioning and a wardrobe which makes it perfect for longer stays in Ksamil.

A good continental breakfast is served daily on the terrace in front of the hotel. The hotel also has a bar serving some of the best cocktails in Ksamil.

Conveniently, Blue Water Hotel is located near to the Ksamil shops and bars so you can enjoy a hassle-free stay.
Facilities
Blue Water Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and a well-maintained garden for relaxation. There is a separate outdoor dining area in a sunny spot.
All rooms at Blue Water come with a private balcony which we love. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and stylishly furnished. If you would like a bit more space, or are travelling as a family or group, there are suites available too.
Food & Drink
Blue Water Hotel has it’s own restaurant on site, making it stand out from many hotels in Ksamil. The food is incredibly delicious and we would recommend eating there on at least one of your nights.
The breakfast offered is extensive and very tasty too.
Blue Water Hotel has a bar, and the best bit is that they’ll serve your drinks directly to you on your sunbed – bliss!

Rida Village Hotel is perfect for a peaceful escape in Ksamil. It is located just a 5-minute walk from Ksamil’s quieter and most beautiful beaches. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the vibrant centre of Ksamil, offering a more relaxed atmosphere. It’s a true hidden gem.
Facilities
Our favourite part of Rida Village Hotel is its outdoor area. The hotel is situated in a peaceful orange and olive tree grove, with lots of flowers and greenery. The rooms are nestled amongst olive trees, and there are plenty of outdoor spaces to relax, including in hammocks!
Food & Drink
The onsite restaurant offers delicious meals with fresh ingredients and family recipes. You can dine in a romantic outdoor setting that won’t be beaten by anywhere else in Ksamil. The prices are slightly higher than some Ksamil restaurants, though the quality and ambience more than justify it.

Located in a quiet part of Ksamil, Albania, Dream Hotel is just a 10-minute walk to the beach. It is a 15-minute walk into town, meaning you’re not bothered by street noise, but it is still accessible.

Dream Hotel has so much to offer. Each room has its own balcony with beautiful views and patio furniture which makes for a lovely evening. There is a good onsite restaurant, a roof terrace, and a garden with play equipment for children.

The restaurant at Dream Hotel offers some delicious and well-priced food. The breakfast is a varied continental buffet, offering something slightly different every day.

Location
Twins Hotel is located just 300m from the beautiful Lori Beach, and a 5-minute walk from Paradise Beach. The location is excellent, whilst still being peaceful, situated a 10-minute walk from the main town centre.
Facilities
The rooms are clean and modern with a fridge and coffee machine in each. All rooms have a balcony with patio furniture and garden views, which is lovely.
Food & Drink
Twins Hotel is a basic hotel, and no food or drink is offered at the hotel itself. It is, however, walking distance into town where you can purchase various things.
Staff
The staff at Twins Hotel are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout your stay.
11. Vila Mare Mateo
Location
Vila Mare Mateo is one of the more peaceful hotels in Ksamil, located on the outskirts of the town. Whilst it is a 15-minute walk into town, you’re just a few minutes from Paradise Beach, Lori Beach, and 800m from Ksamil Beach 9. It is the perfect location for a beach holiday in Ksamil.
Facilities
The highlight of Vila Mare Mateo is its spacious garden for guests to enjoy. The rooms are large and offer amazing views over the garden, city, and the sea. Some rooms also have balconies.

Unfortunately, there are no food or drink options onsite. Rooms do come with a kettle for your morning coffee though.

Is Ksamil Worth Visiting?
Situated in the most southerly part of the Albanian coast, Ksamil is one of the most beautiful and popular spots along the Albanian Riviera. Whilst it is by no means a secret spot these days, it is worth visiting if you love stunning crystal-clear turquoise sea and pristine beaches, with the convenience of restaurants and beach bars nearby.
If you’re looking for a quieter beach escape, we’d recommend visiting either Borsh or Himarë instead.
What Are The Best Beaches In Ksamil, Albania?
Ksamil has SO many beautiful beaches to choose from!! Our personal favourites were actually situated a little out of town, including Pulëbardha and Pasqyra beaches. If you’re after something a little closer to town, Paradise Beach is also stunning.
Is Ksamil Expensive To Visit?
This depends on your definition of expensive. Ksamil is a lot more expensive than most places in Albania due to it being a big tourist spot. You can expect to pay a little more for food and accommodation than elsewhere in Albania.
However, Ksamil is not expensive compared to many Western European countries, and it really can be as cheap as you make it, with plenty of budget hotels available to suit everyone.
How Do You Get To Ksamil?
Ksamil is easily accessible from Tirana. We would recommend hiring a car and taking a scenic four-hour drive, stopping to sightsee along the way. Having a car will allow you to visit more of the remote beaches whilst in Ksamil, as well as take day trips to the Blue Eye, Gjirokaster, and Berat.
It is possible to reach Ksamil by bus. From Tirana, catch the bus to Sarande for 1300 Albanian lek. From Saranda, you can either grab a taxi or catch another bus to Ksamil, with the journey being around 20-30 minutes. Please note, the buses in Albania can be infrequent and unreliable, with drivers often waiting for buses to fill before departing. We’d advise checking timetables beforehand.
